Multi-agent robotic ecosystem for end-to-end automation of in-plant logistics processes automation of in-plant logistics processes

The main objective of this project is the development of a flexible system for full automation of in-plant logistics processes. Different robotic technologies, static robotic arms and AGVs will be combined. The coordination of the different mobile platforms will be based in a private 5G network communication network which will allow to take decisions in real productive and logistic environments. The coordination system will be based on multiagent reinforcement learning (MARL) and Vision-Language-Action technologies to enable adaptative handling. This constitutes a qualitative step regarding currently implemented systems, allowing a real-time adaptative and decentralized decisions taking. For all those reasons, TRIAD combinaes IA, multirobot coordination, digital twins, private 5G networks, cybersecurity, adaptative handling and additive manufacturing to advance towards autonomous, connected and efficient logistics systems. Aimen rol in this project is well focused on the design of tactile fingers and robotic grippers that are able to carefully handling delicate packages. Fiber Optic Sensors will provide the sensing capabilites and they will be integrated during the manufacturing process of the fingers. Besides, Aimen will be participating also in the ecosystem defintion as well as in its implementation, using the know-how in the develpment of flexible robotic systems, able to operate in changing environments using a human-in-the-loop approach, guaranteeing security while keeping adaptation capabilites. Aimen will also be collaborating in the integration of the developed systems in the deployed digital platforms, ensuring full tazability of processes and products, and allowing the monitoring, optimization and data-based decisions taking .
