AIMEN Technology Centre holds, on June 13th, the training Projection-based AR for human support in the shipbuilding sector, one of the training courses organized within Mari4_YARD project, an initiative funded by the Horizon 2020 program and coordinated by AIMEN.
From April to June, this initiative offers a series of training courses aimed at maritime students, shipowner operators and owners, as well as other interested persons, to present user-centric solutions for flexible and modular manufacturing in small and medium-sized shipyards.
This new formative activity organized by INESCTEC and AIMEN, within the AIMEN Didactic Factory for Mari4_YARD, provides an interactive learning experience on Spatial Augmented Reality to assist shipbuilding workers in the precise positioning of non-structural elements on ships.
