AIMEN Technology Centre hosts, on June 5 at its facilities in O Porriño, the taining Use of drones for the analysis of air quality in confined spaces and logistics planning, organized by Ghenova. This is one of the courses framed within the training offered by the European project Mari4_YARD, an initiative funded by Horizon 2020 programme and coordinated by AIMEN.
Since April to June, the Mari4_YARD initiative offers a series of training courses aimed at students, operators, engineers and bussiness owners in the naval and other sectors, as well as people who may be interested, in order to present user-centered solutions for flexible and modular manufacturing in small and medium- sized shipyards.
Specifically, this training activity organized by the Ghenova company and carried out at the AIMEN Didactic Factory for Mari4_YARD, shows how to use a small drone to enter in confined spaces and check the air quality before someone enters the space. It also presents how to use a dorne to scan the shipyard and to analyze the production logistics through point cloud and 3D block model and/or complete boats.
